Krabi International Airport sits about 30–40 minutes by road from Ao Nang. You have four realistic options when you land:
Airport shuttle bus / minivan – the cheapest way. Counters are in the arrivals hall; buses and shared minivans run to Ao Nang through the day and drop you at or near your hotel. Expect roughly 150–200 THB per person and a bit of waiting until the van fills up.
Taxi from the official counter – fixed prices by zone, roughly 500–700 THB to Ao Nang. No haggling, leaves right away.
Grab / Bolt – works at Krabi Airport; pickup is at the designated rideshare area. Prices move with demand, often similar to or slightly below the taxi counter.
