Terms of Use – after.

1. Who we are and scope

These Terms apply to the use of after. (web app at https://afterapp-thailand.lovable.app and future iOS/Android apps), operated by Leonard-Deon Moissè, sole proprietor, Baumschulenweg 2, 25436 Tornesch, Germany, samesame.travel.krabi@gmail.com ("after.", "we").

2. What after. is

after. is a free social travel app that helps travelers in Thailand see who is out nearby, chat, join or create meetups and find things to do. after. does not organise trips or activities itself.

3. Free of charge

Using after. is free. There are no subscriptions or paid features. We earn money through commissions from partners (see sections 8 and 9). You never pay after. anything.

4. Who can use after.

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • One account per person. Your account is personal and may not be shared or transferred.
  • Your profile must be about you: real, recent photos of yourself as the first photo, your real first name and correct date of birth.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

5. Community rules

You must not:

  • harass, threaten, stalk, insult or discriminate against anyone;
  • post nudity, sexual content, violence, hate symbols or illegal content, or photos of children as your profile photo;
  • impersonate others, use fake, celebrity, stock or AI-generated photos of people;
  • send spam, chain messages or advertising, or use after. for commercial promotion without our written permission (partners only through after. deals);
  • offer or ask for sexual services, drugs or anything illegal under Thai or other applicable law;
  • collect other users' data, use bots or scrape the app;
  • misuse after. deals (e.g. redeeming without the partner's confirmation, sharing PINs) or give false information about bookings (e.g. confirming a booking that didn't happen).

You can report users and content in every chat and profile. We review reports and may remove content.

6. Meeting people – your responsibility

  • Meetups happen at your own responsibility. after. does not check the identity or background of users beyond the photo check and does not supervise meetups.
  • Safety tips: meet in public places, tell a friend where you go (use "Share my meetup"), keep an eye on your drink, trust your gut, don't share your exact accommodation before you trust someone.
  • Emergency in Thailand: Tourist Police 1155. General emergency: 191 (police), 1669 (ambulance). [TO BE CHECKED]
  • After a meetup you can leave an anonymous vibe check; "felt uncomfortable" is reviewed by our team.

7. Content you post

You keep the rights to your photos and texts. You give us a non-exclusive, free right to store and show them within after. as needed to run the app, for as long as your content is in the app. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and that people shown in your photos agreed.

8. Bookings through partners

  • after. shows activities and travel essentials from partners (e.g. GetYourGuide, Travelpayouts partners such as Yesim, Airalo, Kiwitaxi, GetTransfer, BikesBooking, Klook, and SafetyWing).
  • If you book, the contract is directly between you and the partner/provider under their terms and prices. after. only refers you and is not a party to that contract and not the tour operator.
  • Partner links: "Partner link – we may earn a small commission, it never costs you more."
  • Prices, availability, times and descriptions come from partners or public sources and may change. Always check the details on the partner's page before booking.

9. after. deals

  • after. deals are offers from local partners (e.g. bars, gyms, tour operators), marked with ★.
  • The partner sets the conditions (what, when, how often, exclusions). Deals are redeemed on site with a PIN or QR code.
  • The partner pays after. a fee per redeemed deal; this never increases your price.
  • We are not responsible for the partner's goods or services; claims are against the partner. Partners may end deals at any time.

10. Suspension and deletion

  • You can delete your account at any time under You → "Delete my account".
  • We may warn, restrict, suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms or the law, or to protect other users – where possible after hearing you; in serious cases immediately. You can contact us if you disagree.

11. Availability and changes to the app

after. is provided free and as available. We may change, add or remove features. We try to keep the app running but cannot guarantee it is always available or error-free.

12. Liability

  • We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (e.g. product liability) applies.
  • For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the use of after. possible), limited to typical, foreseeable damage.
  • Otherwise our liability is excluded. In particular we are not liable for the behaviour of other users, for meetups, or for services of partners.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms for valid reasons (e.g. new features, legal changes). We will inform you in the app at least [TO BE COMPLETED: e.g. 14] days before. If you keep using after. after that date, the new Terms apply; you can delete your account if you disagree. [TO BE CHECKED]

14. Applicable law and disputes

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside. 1. Anbieter und Geltung

Diese Bedingungen gelten für die Nutzung von after. (Web-App https://afterapp-thailand.lovable.app und künftige iOS-/Android-Apps), betrieben von Leonard-Deon Moissè, Einzelunternehmer, Baumschulenweg 2, 25436 Tornesch, samesame.travel.krabi@gmail.com.

2. Was after. ist

Kostenlose Social-Travel-App für Reisende in Thailand: sehen, wer in der Nähe unterwegs ist, chatten, Treffen erstellen oder beitreten, Aktivitäten finden. after. veranstaltet selbst keine Reisen oder Aktivitäten.

3. Kostenlos

Die Nutzung ist kostenlos, ohne Abos oder bezahlte Funktionen. Wir finanzieren uns über Provisionen von Partnern (Abschnitte 8 und 9).

4. Wer after. nutzen darf

Ab 18 Jahren. Ein Konto pro Person, nicht übertragbar. Echte, aktuelle Fotos von dir als erstes Foto, echter Vorname, korrektes Geburtsdatum. Du schützt deine Zugangsdaten.

5. Community-Regeln

Verboten sind insbesondere: Belästigung, Drohungen, Stalking, Beleidigung, Diskriminierung; Nacktheit, sexuelle Inhalte, Gewalt, Hasssymbole, illegale Inhalte, Kinderfotos als Profilbild; falsche Identitäten, Fake-, Promi-, Stock- oder KI-Fotos von Menschen; Spam, Kettennachrichten, Werbung ohne unsere schriftliche Erlaubnis; Angebot/Suche sexueller Dienstleistungen, Drogen oder anderes nach thailändischem oder sonst anwendbarem Recht Illegales; Datensammeln, Bots, Scraping; Missbrauch von after.-Deals oder falsche Angaben zu Buchungen (z. B. eine Buchung bestätigen, die nicht stattgefunden hat). Melden ist in jedem Chat und Profil möglich.

6. Treffen auf eigene Verantwortung

Treffen erfolgen auf eigene Verantwortung. after. prüft Identität und Hintergrund nicht (außer der Bildprüfung) und beaufsichtigt keine Treffen. Tipps: öffentliche Orte, Freunde informieren („Share my meetup“), auf das Getränk achten, aufs Bauchgefühl hören. Notfall in Thailand: Touristenpolizei 1155, Polizei 191, Rettungsdienst 1669. 7. Deine Inhalte

Du behältst die Rechte an Fotos und Texten und räumst uns ein einfaches, kostenloses Recht ein, sie innerhalb von after. zu speichern und anzuzeigen, solange sie in der App sind. Du bestätigst, die Rechte zu haben und dass abgebildete Personen einverstanden sind.

8. Buchungen über Partner

Buchungen kommen direkt zwischen dir und dem Partner/Anbieter zustande, zu dessen Bedingungen und Preisen. after. vermittelt nur, ist nicht Vertragspartei und nicht Reiseveranstalter. Hinweis: „Partner link – we may earn a small commission, it never costs you more.“ Angaben stammen von Partnern oder öffentlichen Quellen und können sich ändern – vor der Buchung beim Partner prüfen.

9. after.-Deals

Angebote lokaler Partner (★). Die Bedingungen legt der Partner fest. Einlösung vor Ort per PIN oder QR-Code. Der Partner zahlt after. eine Gebühr pro Einlösung; dein Preis steigt dadurch nie. Für Leistungen des Partners haften wir nicht; Ansprüche richten sich gegen den Partner.

10. Sperrung und Löschung

Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit unter You → „Delete my account“ löschen. Wir können bei Verstößen oder zum Schutz anderer Nutzer verwarnen, einschränken, sperren oder löschen – wenn möglich nach Anhörung, in schweren Fällen sofort.

11. Verfügbarkeit

after. wird kostenlos und ohne Verfügbarkeitsgarantie bereitgestellt; Funktionen können sich ändern.

12. Haftung

Unbeschränkte Haftung bei Vorsatz, grober Fahrlässigkeit, Verletzung von Leben, Körper, Gesundheit sowie nach zwingendem Recht (z. B. Produkthaftung). Bei einfacher Fahrlässigkeit nur bei Verletzung wesentlicher Pflichten, begrenzt auf den typischen, vorhersehbaren Schaden. Im Übrigen ausgeschlossen, insbesondere für das Verhalten anderer Nutzer, für Treffen und für Leistungen von Partnern. [BITTE PRÜFEN]

13. Änderungen

Änderungen aus sachlichem Grund kündigen wir in der App mindestens [BITTE AUSFÜLLEN, z. B. 14] Tage vorher an; bei Weiternutzung gelten die neuen Bedingungen, sonst kannst du dein Konto löschen. [BITTE PRÜFEN]

14. Recht und Gerichtsstand
